Communications North was founded in 1977 in Seward, Alaska to serve the fishing community and the oilfield service vessels operating in the Gulf of Alaska during that time. The company has continued since then to focus on the maritime industry and services for cargo ships, oil tankers cruise ships, tour vessels, and fishing vessels. The company responds to attend vessels at any port in Alaska besides Seward including Dutch harbor, Valdez, Juneau, Nome, Nikiski, Anchorage and many others. Occasionally we work on vessels in Seattle, Washington. The company has moved into its new building located at 204 Nash Road near Seward Ships Dry Dock and the 5000 ton ship lift at the marine industrial park. Our relationship with the major manufacturers of marine electronics has always been very good over the past 28 years and we're pleased to say they provide us with excellent support, if needed, in our remote areas of operation. |
